Ok mebbe that's not exactly what was being said but I'd be more worried if the person in charge of green lighting production was from an accounting background. (As I defend one type of stereotyping by going with another type but still....)
A degree is just a piece of paper. It doesn't take very long that it becomes more about job experiences than whatever initial education.
