update: the wrecker driver said "oh i've seen you guys all over town.. on the highway, in the park and ride, saw you stuck here on the way in.."

we brought the motorcycle on a trailer, that stayed at the hotel and the motorcycle has been supremely useful. he asked where the trailer was.
i just re-upped the room. even if we're done late today, we're getting out of here.
