I have my sister's house on LI all to myself this weekend. Sadly, it's because my mom is in the hospital to have a procedure or two done.

She's in danger of losing her big toe. To make a very long story short they're going to try some procedure to help increase the circulation in her toe but there's no guarantee and a decent chance she'll lose the toe. :-(

So, I'm going out to LI to watch the house and the dogs and be there if something happens with my mom. My sister has had this weekend planned for months and really needs the time away. She does so much for everyone and has been close to her breaking point with the mom's situation.
