That I don't know. I just have one, on PHPC social. Maybe it's like multiple accounts in the Twitter app.

When I click on "federated," it's tons and tons of posts that never stop loading. It might be the "local" feed, but it's really hard to tell. There's definitely a difference betw local and home. -- nm*

The federated timeline is sort of like an aggregated RSS feed from all the connected networks. Like a firehose.
