Being late will stay the same as one occurrence.
Calling in will become two occurrences. (Consecutive days are grouped together.)
No call/no show will become three occurrences.
All of the above previously were just one occurrence, though the no call/no show triggered an automatic 40 rating.
Being asked to come in on an off day, early, or to stay late will count as negative one occurrence. This is the first time you can improve your standing outside of time decay.
1-3 occurrences will require acknowledgement of the policies.
4 will be a 35 restricted rating which essentially is like a yellow warning sign.
5 will be a 40 rating which restricts availability changes, transfers, raises, benefits.
6 is termination.
Occurrences will now time decay 6 months from when they happen instead of 12.
35 rating and 40 ratings still time decay at the same rate of 6 months and 12 months respectively.
The entire system is going digital and is accessible via our partner app. Previously it was done on paper and you didn’t have access except through setting meetings with management.
I think that’s all. I typed it all out so I can copy and paste elsewhere too, heh. But overall I think the policy is automatically improved by providing more transparency as well as redemption through service. I can’t imagine ever no show, no call unless arrested or hospitalized. The latter is an exception and the former puts you under investigation anyway.
