me - "did you figure out the timing of the training you are attending, since I need to plan work around those days "

him - "Well I was told to attend this internal training program"

me - "ok when is that?"

him - "I dont know. I was just told to attend"

me - "So did you register for it, you would be sent a schedule"

him - "I was just told to attend, I didnt register, why would I need to register"

me - "So you talked to the Director, they told you to attend these sessions, and you what, are assuming they signed you up?"

him - "yes."

me - "thats not how that works, you need to register for both"

him - "but I was told to attend"
