that Will's mother has been saying from the very start "Well, I'm going to FL in 2 and a half weeks, so this brain surgery needs to be worked around that...nobody's going to tell *me* I can't go...etc."
Did the doc maybe say the wrong thing? Yep. Did Will's mother refuse to listen to the common sense she would have been forcing her children to listen to had they been the ones in this same situation? Yep.
