We lit the lab (briefly) on fire in middle school because the burner had a slight leak.

Teacher lit the burners in hand rather than on the table. Lit the burner, burned his hand, and he instinctively dropped it. Shot flaming alcohol across the floor. Luckily it wasn't full.
