... twice) there is no noise. Maintenance has went inside her unit three times before, no noise. Today they were near her unit finishing another job and she came out and said it was doing it again RIGHT NOW.

Maintenance goes into her unit and she says, "Hear it!?!"

"Do you mean the noise caused by this?" and closed her window which was slightly cracked open.

"Yes, how did that stop it!?!"

"Mam, the noise is the wind whistling through your open window." They opened it again and sure enough, there was her phantom noise.
