I think those folks are the wingnuts who claim to support gun rights but don't know how to handle firearms.

The last thing you ever want to do is hand some inexperienced person a gun and tell 'em "Here, make sure it's safe."
I certainly wouldn't want that if I was an actor -- even with the training I have.
