Spawn, when I was pricing out cars my Jetta GLI and a Model 3 cost exactly the same after 5 years.

The M3 was $20k more to start. Electricity is going to be much cheaper than gas, especially now.
VW’s chargers are more expensive than the Tesla but you would rarely use it.
Responses:
it's funny to see them sold as city commuter vehicles, because it's long hauls where they really shine because of fuel savings.
