He’s right about Costco using the same OEMs in China. Like with the golf balls, don’t let your OEM manufacturer use your designs to build putters for a competitor (like Costco). Patent the design. Sue anyone who copies it. Costco’s taking advantage of a premium product’s poor supply chain management. And as Costco has demonstrated, the product isn’t worth the $450 it sells for if they can sell the same product for a quarter the price. So no only did they pants the putter maker, they then told everyone he has no pants.
