Yes if you have a place to put a giant solar array or wind farm. I don’t think you’d be able to do either in Astoria.

Unless they’re going nuclear (as discussed yesterday) I don’t think the tech is there for urban renewables.
Responses:
Calgary is putting giant solar farms in the middle of the city. Different layout to be sure, but it's not undoable. -- nm

What I'm understanding, and it's not much, is that they want the plant to be powered by renewable resources and not from natural gas as it is today.
