is this the guy who ran from his socal home to death valley, ran an ultra in heat enough to melt his shoes, then ran home after?

said he had to run on the painted yellow lane divider because his shoes would melt enough to leave rubber behind on the black tarmac...at ground level it can get to be 150' an inch or so off the ground
