That is good thinking! in real life it does not work that way at all.

It would be only a microsecond of trapping the bacteria.
Only a tiny number. Moisture? Maybe, depends on circumstances.
Put them right side up? There is a never, ever, ever ending rainstorm of contaminants raining in to your glassware. The only possible way to keep it sterile is to go to every possible extreme to not uncover the container. THat's the basis of sterile technique.
