and are losing others as well. The republicans gained seats in Queens and Brooklyn. We also had three big ballot proposals fail. One was about redistricting, another about same day voting registration and the other was no-excuse absentee voting. All of those should have passed easily. The GOP gets their voters out and do a better job of scaring the public into voting for them.

The democrats failed all over the country yesterday. Will they see their failure to do much of anything since being in power as the reason? Likely not.
