It’s no secret this nation values hard work and ‘fiscal’ competency. Everyone supports these programs right up till the price tag. It’s been the same playbook for decades. Yet, the Dems still fall into the same damn trap of not selling the plans or dealing with the inevitable GOP attacks.
And these young idealists chasing him and Sinema down…we’ve all seen them. Guy Incognito for one here. Raging against the machine to the point that even if you agree with his broad strokes, just get tired of how relentless the badgering is. “You’re only 97% pure! Why can’t you be 100% pure on the issue I care about?!?!”
At some point, those who are supporters reach the point of “Ya know, fuck you. 97% not good enough? Try 0.”
There’s an entire line of study now about how anti-productive these liberal warriors are.
