OMFG. The lawyers I'm working with on an email collection task sent me over a list of keywords to use. It contained a line like this

Tube /3 (split! or align! or mismatch!)

The also told me ! is a wildcard. So. How would you add that to a search? I did:

"Tube /3 split*"
"Tube /3 align*"
"Tube /3 mismatch*"

Guess what they meant?

"Tube split*"
"Tube align*"
"Tube mismatch*"

The /3 is just supposed to mean "One of these three"

Who the hell writes like that?

- lol. After asking about the /2, NOW they say that /2 means "within two words" - oblique Nov 4, 10:58 2
