It’s between it, Live and Let Live and Goldfinger for my favorite. The issue with the Craig’s is they messed up the sequencing. (Spoils for all 5)

Quantum is bad but given they literally were making it up as they went due to the strike…ok
They start with rookie Bond and he loses his first crush … and the 2nd movie is immediately following that. Okay, decent start in the Bond life cycle.
Then they go to Skyfall where he’s already ready for pasture? Huh? The guy who was a rookie in the last movies? They missed a step.
If they swap Spectre and the Lea Seydoux love interest…consider Skyfall his and her their “they were on a break” gap, you can build up the Skyfall idea of him being an old dog aging…. And then have his entire arc wrap up in No Time to Die with it not being all weirdly sequenced.
