Swap Shop on Netflix was okay though I'm pretty sure some of the "finds" were a setup. I was hoping for something more than a flea market

flippers kind of a show.

There was one segment where these two young guys go to buy some vintage Starter brand Raiders hats. While looking around they just happen to find a pair of 1985 Jordan 1s in the Chicago colorway. They're extremely valuable even in poor condition and these were in a very worn condition. They'd still sell for $1,500 or so.
The woman they were buying from said she sells vintage clothes but when they "found" them she only asked for $50. She said she didn't know much about sneakers.
I call elves on that! If someone is selling vintage clothes there's no way she doesn't know the value of sneakers today. They're talked about everywhere now. It's not a secret.

Also, the guys that found them tried the sneakers on. You don't do that. From holding them you know they're in a fragile condition, I can easily see that from looking at them. And there's no way someone that sells sneakers would put them on their feet and risk doing even more damage.
That segment was so shady and looked like a big setup for the show.
