Honestly, 'thee' sounds more American than 'thuh' because American English has more long vowels. eg EYE-raq, LEE-sure, YOH-gurt, BAY-sil -- nm

"Thuh" sounds more like French than "thee," though (which goes luh or lah or lay) -- nm

If I grew up in FL and say "yall" does that mean I have a fake Southern accent? -- nm
