Dumb: I applied today for an apartment in the complex I'm already living in that they are renovating. They assure me I'll be alright.

But, of course, my brain is telling me to be anxious AF because they have higher qualification standards than the previous management company. The idea that I may not qualify to live in essentially my own apartment after 7 years is heartbreaking, even if it's pretty much not going to happen. They want me to stay, so they're going to make it happen.
