It should actually make sense, if only the companies were more friendly. Worlds that do not have comic books would be dumb. So in the MCU, DC Comics

should be the norm and vice versa.
It is kinda like the entire vampire problem. For years, the worlds of vampire movies did not even know about the possibility of vampires. That is stupid. Luckily, that is not the norm anymore.
