insurrection. I expected him to downplay what they said and just say they were angry. Not intimate that they had every reason to do it. Side note that's also kind of fascinating, Jon Karl's interview where he said this was done, at Trump's insistence, in the lobby of Mar-a-Lago. He wanted to be on the stage in front everyone showing how important he was to be interviewed that way. Karl said that he kept pointing out how respected Karl was to passerbys even though he used to rip him as fake news. The most insecure man in the world.
