How do you suggest improving a system designed to reduce excess and redundancy?

The main goal of a supply chain is to minimize waste, not have an over abundance of goods on call.
That leads to deflationary pressure in normal times.
We’re fucked because of all of the changes. It’s a realignment in what’s needed, coupled with a substantial reevaluation of the labor markets on par with the return from WW2.
