At what point should I just sell the thing if I can't get sufficient motivation to unbox it and hook it up?

I went though the procedure to wipe my PS4 and physically unhooked it from the screen but the upgrade process stopped there.

So now I have two game consoles not connected to anything which seemingly proves that gaming is not exactly a priority for me. As well as neither is playing 4K Blu-Rays as that was supposedly part of the reason for getting the drive version of the PS5.
