So Toronto made a great deal and the Angels did Angels things. Both Berrios and Noah S get about 20mil a year but one is good and the other is broken

So, Berrios is reasonably consistent at ERA+ of 120…and 20mil for a pitcher 20% better than average is a good deal.

Noah, he’s been declining for 4 years…and if you get value from him this coming year, you’re not getting a bargain in year 2 because you gave an overpay market deal to a guy who’s not been good since 2018. Odds are, he’s a bad 20mil investment.
