They need so many pitchers, they can't pay 30mil on another 1 name

You got Trout earning 35mil, you got Rendon north of 30, you got Shohei who's going to get paid...let's say they cap at 200mil (right/wrong)...they got 70mil between the injured stars, and now another 10% on a guy who wasn't good when healthy.
You need volume, you spend 10-15mil on a several solid arms...like Eduardo Rodriguez...and other guys who are worthy of being flipped if they aren't long-term solutions.
Instead, they paid $20mil for a guy who's terrible at the same time Toronto got 6 years of a guy who's better for the same price.
