WWE released Hit Row? Did Vince realize he had three different groups of Black wrestlers and that was 1.5 too many?

I could understand budget cuts given the horde of of talent in 2018/19 pre AEW. Even releasing 125 guys since Covid, they are still over 200 contracted wrestlers. At best, only 50 of them appear on tv so that’s…still a lot of unused human capital.
But these releases are so half-assed as to defy logic. You just signed the Hit Row group to bigger main roster deals and tripled your commitment to them via the non-compete. Why from a fiscal standpoint?
And that’s not even counting the uselessness of actually being a good act that gets some reaction…just randomly cut people.
Realistically they did correct the Morrison and Ryker things. Morrison just hasn’t been interesting since he came back while costing a lot and Ryker os a bad person.
