So far, Mac Jones is Tom Brady 2.0 (the part before Brady turned 30 and got turned loose)

Brady had 6 years of stats that were very similar. 62% completion rate, a 2:1 TD:INT rate and 4 of the 6 his YPA was under 7.0.

He also made enough plays in the context of a tremendously well-rounded team to be a huge winner.

Then they got Moss and Brady became a stats god for the next 15 years.

Mac's got a 2:1 TD:INT ratio; his completion rate is about 70% and his YPA is 7.3...he needs WR help and that team won't win as much because it's not nearly as well-rounded and as deep as the 2001-2005 editions...but he's doing his job remarkably well at the moment.

Just no one fears Nelson and the other WR's.
