jfc. My wife just got a text that’s basically “cool if I use your house for a threesome while you’re away this weekend?”

Long story, but her marriage just ended and now she needs a place to bone her new boyfriend and their mutual partner. Can’t use her place because she thinks it would be weird with her kids around and her ex in the tiny house they built in the back yard (her and the ex move in/out of it every week so the kids don’t have to move between houses, which is a whole other thing), can’t use the boyfriend’s place because HE LIVES IN A VAN AND ALWAYS HAS, and can’t use the partner’s place because she lives with her other boyfriend. There are so many bad choices happening, I just can’t.

So many questions. Who gets to own the film rights to this soiree? Who's responsible for catering? -- nm

I see posts like this and I'm reminded how plain my life is ... and I wonder if I could foresee events that lead me to something like this. I cannot. -- nm
