Speaking of pharmacies: The Rite aid (basically) across the street from me used to be 24 hours. Now it just used to be.

I came back from Florida and it was gone. They didn't even transfer the prescriptions to another Rite Aid because there's not another one in this neighborhood. They transferred the prescriptions to a Duane Reade (aka Walgreens) two blocks up.

Our 7/11s used to 24rs, then cut to 6am to 2am, now closes at midnight (soon to be 7 to 11?) And it's a freeway exit site. -- nm

24 hour retail isn’t sustainable. Walmarts discovered this pre-pandemic. Others followed in cutting overnight hours since. -- nm
