Certainly a good story to tell. But wasn't nearly as whelmed. -- (edited)

Certain success-story elements we had heard before. Even on Made-for-TV and HBO-Channel Cable movies (Tiger, Hoop Dreams, others). Emotional and character depth could've been better imho.
Just think the film translation couldve been better.
Smith and others are worthwhile actor noms
