Let Y = 1 / xsquared+2. Find the values of x for which Y is increasing most rapidly or decreasing most rapidly.

X = ? where Y is increasing most rapidly

X = ? where Y is decreasing most rapidly

I think you're looking at x between -1 and 1 and x greater than -1 and 1. Do you need the calculus or just inspection. I used casual inspection so, - VMan Nov 23, 17:17 6
