The worldwide supply issues, coupled with the high demand for electric vehicles like the Volkswagen ID.4 EV, has resulted in unexpected delivery delays and shortened production volumes.
Your Reservation Status
With the Model Year 2021 ID.4 nearly sold out, we’re writing to let you know that your reservation has been officially assigned to our Model Year 2022 production plan1. As soon as we are ready to produce your vehicle, we will invite you to lock in your order, giving you the opportunity to view Model Year 2022 details and modify your configuration. Once you lock in your order by paying the $400 Vehicle Deposit, we will provide an estimated delivery timeframe.
New Year, New Possibilities
With the model year transition, we anticipate Model Year 2022 base MSRP to increase along with updates we think you’ll love such as:
• Expected Improved range2 to help you go further without stopping to charge
• Increased DC fast charging speed to save you time charging
• Auto Hold, which allows you to keep your vehicle in a standstill with your foot off the brake
We’re also excited to confirm that your purchase of a model year 2022 ID.4 includes 3-Years of DC Fast Charging at Electrify America. More details to follow.3
