Stupid. And not every kid can learn online - some don't have the money for it, some don't have the Internet access, and most importantly, some kids

are simply incompatible with it. When the pandemic first hit, we tried doing OT/speech therapy sessions over the computer for my youngest, and every single time it was a painful experience that resulted in screaming and tears.
Granted, that work is a bit different than schoolwork, but it's close enough that I think the result would be the same.
(Also, internet access in a storm in Canada? sure, that sounds reliable and stable 🙄)
