1) We love it here and have no impulse to move, ever. The building we’d be looking at is three blocks away from our house.
2) Timing is a concern, yes, especially with the new supply coming onto the market in the short term, as discussed.
3) it’s a condo apartment, building is currently about 15 years old. Our current house is over 100 years old and 4) has many stairs, which is why we might one day want to consider moving into an apartment instead.
5) Yes.
And you’re right that it’s probably more relevant to look at it as an investment over that time frame, but the only way real estate would appeal to me in that sense is if it has some future use to me.
Also we were drunk.
