I had a small amount of RP on two recruits. For one I was down 6 to the leader and for the other down 14. The leader was the same on both.
At the first interim update, he maxed out the first one, who is a better player. Through the first and second updates, he added nothing to the other. It seemed, logically, he was abandoning the second player in favor of the first. So I conceded the first recruit and maxed out on the second.
Update comes in: he maxed out the second during the last stage, so now he's got a clear lead on both. D'oh. Bait and switch! Bait and switch!
