He was a perfectly solid grinding coach…the problem was he settled into adequacy and the Big 14 move sucked the life

From the program. No one likes Big 14 basketball. It’s ugly. Duke, UNC…that’s fun.
And all the AD money fuckups tied them to him for longer than he should have.
