We drove in almost white out dense fog last night on the interstate. Never felt safer in a car in those conditions. Lane guidance, auto steer plus

smart cruise control and I *knew* and had full confidence that if someone was in front of us the car would stop. I felt safer setting the cruise at the speed limit than driving at a speed my brain naturally felt comfortable with knowing I wouldn't be hit from behind and I wouldn't crash into someone even if they were stopped in my lane.
