B2, about the UK, if I understand it correctly.

Last year, at X-Mas time, the UK was in lockdown. You were not allowed to go outside your bubble.

This past week, it became known that Boris Johnson gave a party at his official home for members of the government and some other people.

Uproar.

Is this going to be investigated, some asked. The party line was, well, there was no party, if there was a party it followed the rules (which was no parties, so opposition of terms, but I digress), and if there was a party, is this the best way to use the time and money of the London police, after all, it was just maybe, maybe not but probably not, a small party one year ago.

More uproar.

Of course, even as they were saying those things, the police was prosecuting someone in the general public that gave a X-mas party during that same week. Yes, one year ago.

Locals can please feel free to slap me down and correct me, if needed.
