In response to "oh stars no. just funny that we both just watched it recently :) -- nm" by Beaker

I was isolating at my brother's Summer home on Lake Michigan and he has all the subscription services - it just popped up under my account for a match -- (edited)

which tells you what kind of movies I have mostly watched on netflix ... heh heh.

I remember as a kid ... my dad taking me to see the movie Patton with George C Scott and my mom sitting on the other side of me fuming at my father because of some of the language I heard ... heh heh ... I think I was in 3rd grade? And then - another time - I was 12 and he took me to see the Godfather ... this time without my mom. Watching movies with my dad growing up - and really up until his death - hold some of my best memories and I'm certain I got my love for movies from him. The last one I recall seeing in the theatre with him was Silence of the Lambs - it was Wintertime here in Northern Michigan and we had about a 45 minute drive on back roads that badly needed plowing to go to see the matinee movie in the town on the other side of the State on Lake Superior. On the way home ... as we'd pass lone houses along the stretch of back roads he'd say ... boy I hope we don't get stuck because that looks like the house of a mass murderer right there. Heh heh ... and it was a blizzard where you could barely see the road and hardly the houses set back off the road. Thankfully at that time I was 30 and didn't get too scared ... but it is ... afterall ...Northern Michigan - anything could happen on the back roads!
