Tornado was on the ground west of us. Debris ball on radar. Looked at the movement. Oh fuck, take everything to the basement. Find the cats and dogs and lock ourselves in.

Watched the wind signature go literally over our house. We’re okay other than losing power for a few minutes. Have some branches down it looks like but hard to tell exactly as it’s still raining fairly hard.

Now the tornado is back on the ground in IL. It literally lifted somewhere in the 10 minutes before and came back down in the 10 minutes after going over our house.
