It's like a reward of nostalgia. (no spoilers)

I get into fantasy programs at the end of the year. Typically do a one-day viewing of the entire LOTR trilogy (extended versions) on a Saturday in December. Been watching the Witcher on Netflix.
This is only my third viewing of the GOT series, though. Watched each season sequentially, then binge-watched the first six seasons before the seventh. And I've only seen that wretched eight season once.
And the finale did destroy much of the franchise. But I'm suspending my disbelief sufficiently so far. We'll see what happens when I get to season 6 or so. ;-)
