I designed the models to return values which reflect the player rating system, -2.33 (None-) to +2.33 (Exc+). On balance, they do a pretty good job, but do gravitate toward the null, so the extreme values are rarer than they should be.

I encourage cross-checking individuals with the scout rating before pulling the trigger. In working through my selections last night, there was one player I was set to max because the model likes him, but his scouting was so poor that it scared me off. (Gavin Perkins, Knoxville if you're curious.)
