Yes. He was a family friend. I don't know how my grandmother knew it wasn't her husband's child. My dad is the 6th of 7 children and my grandmother -- (edited)

told me her husband was "attentive" to her twice a day, every day. I can only think he must have been away for some period of time, maybe going back to Canada to see family or take care of something. My dad said he knew at some point when he was younger, but my aunt and uncle said they didn't know and my aunt never believed it. Both bio and familial dad knew. It was the 30s, so I have no idea how they all would know. That's why I think my other grandfather must have been away. It ended up having legal ramifications 40 years later and she actually testified in court about it. I would love to see a transcript. I wanted to ask her about it, but I thought it would embarrass her.
