When I moved back to Portland from Washington, DC, about 15+ years ago, a box of memorabilia was lost -- including a framed copy of my J.D. degree.

I replaced it in 2009, but it's always been a copy.

Today, I got a message via LinkedIn from someone who found that framed copy at a small thrift store in North Portland. They included a link to the photo, and -- sure enough -- it's the exact same framed original.

We're working out when I can pick it up. :-)
