Starting the second week of January, our library is going to do a 2022 Extreme Book Nerd challenge. The goal will be to read 50 books that will fit into 50 different categories in 50 weeks. I'll be happy to share the full details once we finalize and post them.

If you complete your 50 books in 50 weeks, you get a 2022 Extreme Book Nerd Challenge canvas bag with our logo on it. You also get, hang on here, your own library "black card". It will be a black metal library card like the American Express Titanium or whatever the hell it is.

I was telling Trish about this, and she asked what it does different from the regular plastic library card. "Well, basically nothing, but its black metal. It will be exclusive"

I need a library black card. Trish thinks the endeavor is stupid. On which side do you fall?
