One of the books I got for Christmas was the Michael Connolly book "law of innocence" (a Lincoln lawyer book) (spoils)

One of the subplots involves the onset of Covid.
A social event near the close of the book has someone who is going around and talking to everyone at the event ... so painful to read in passing, because you just know what is going on. Bit of a Typhoid Mary foreshadowing.
Anyway, it was pretty well done by the author, though I tend to disagree with his timeline. It suggests much more prudence than actually occurred.
