I didn’t like the framing of her as just a naive girl from the north woods to build sympathy for her.
I did like that they laid the blame squarely where it belonged, on Jim and Tammy, and not made it a broader polemic.
I probably should just stop watching biopics because they fall into similar troupes and traps.
